黃錦星今日在美國三藩市參與全球氣候行動峰會。他在分組討論環節向與會者分享香港減緩氣候變化的經驗。
 
 
 
他指出，香港是亞洲首個要求遠洋船隻「泊岸轉油」的城市，即船隻泊岸後需將重油轉換成含硫量不超過0.5%的低硫船用燃料，此舉不單改善空氣質素，還有助減緩全球氣候變化。
